I have a lot of blog reading and writing to catch up on and I don’t even know where to begin. I really appreciate the responses and e-mails from everyone. It really motivated me to to give it another go after my month off.  So many new things on the blogging streets, but I won’t waste your time recycling all this exciting news as I know you all know it all already. Mmmm… OK, I can’t resist… Target is going to carry Orla Kiely starting in February! OK, I promise, just that one! I know I’ve been out of the loop, but it isn’t it SO very exciting?!?

Jenn Ski “Tagged” me last week, so I thought I would start my first post of the year off with a Tag by one of my favorite bloggers.

1.  I don’t pretend TV isn’t a daily part of my life.  My favorite shows are The Office, Flight of the Concords, Survivor, Lost, Intervention and currently, Confessions of a Teen Idol.

2. I’ve read only one un-baby related book since my son Sam was born 7 months ago and it was Revolutionary Road.

3. I have an awesome dog named Murray, two cats named Puppy and Bigs (Bigs has nothing to do with SATC)

4. My favorite band is Simon and Garfunkel.

5.  I am one the lucky few who loves my job.

6. I think I might be addicted to flavored carbonated water.

Thank-you

Being a blogging newbie, I quickly realized that only through other great bloggers, you can possibly become one too. I wanted to share some of my favorites.

Heathers’ Butter Family Picnic blog is a St. Louis friend of mine that writes witty, heartwarming stories about her amazingly cute son Elliot and husband Justin.

The Mid-Century Modernist is an awesome site for the modern lover and has always been one of my favorites. I was happy just to be mentioned on his blog.

I’m quickly falling in love with Jenn Ski Studio. Every time I look she has posted something interesting, her blog will defiantly be a daily stop for me.

Invisible Creature is a great blog about animation, design, illustration, architecture - you name it. Super clean and refreshing layout. It’s just perfect!

Retro Renovation is a super resource for all thing retro. Great place to get your renovation questions answered.
