Faucet Fiasco

We ordered our new sink today! After two trips to Expo and countless hours of internet searching, we finally closed the deal. We got just a simple white Onyx top to match the white vanity base. It had to be a poured sink because we are not planning on re-tiling the wall and there is a weird lip in the front. For pictures please see my previous bathroom post. I am so excited! Still to do: replace the stool with a white Bertoia chair. *if it fits*, get a new shower curtain, new soap holders, new mirror, new vanity pulls and last but not least, new faucet! I spent literally three hours last night looking for the right faucet and I still can’t click the “buy” button yet. I decided to stick to the big sites - Lowes, Home Depot, Restoration Hardware and Kohler.com- everything else makes my head hurt from the endless options. So, here are some of the finalists. I would love to know what sites I am missing, so please share any information you have. My sink is super low (real vintage vanity style) so I think we are going to go with a gooseneck spout to get a little more space. I have bathroom on the brain, so please share!

  1. I’ve been having the same dilema! And I just got back from Expo a few hours ago. You’re so lucky that you can go modern - always my first choice but I can’t in my bathroom because I have a vintage tub to match.
Those are all nice faucets and I think you made the right choice in going for a gooseneck - I have a small sink in my other “bathroom” and it really benefits from a gooseneck spout.
Check out: everyvesselsink.com - they have a lot of really nice faucets.

  3. Tons of sites out there, but I think the one that surprises me the most is Overstock.com — great selection and a great search/refine feature:

  5. Not sure if this is your style, but I am a huge fan of these faucets:

  7. Heather: Thanks! Great choices! I might check there for the master bath! Didn’t know about that site! Awesome!

Troy: YES! Overstock! Never thought of that one. I always forget about it!

Pam: Thanks! Those are great vintage style faucets too! A little too small (looking for gooseneck) but great selection!

    Thanks for your help!
