My Dresser

I like stuff. I am having a harder and harder time editing these days. I don’t actually keep these jacks on the dresser, but I do keep two in the bedroom, two in the office and one in the living room - and if I found 10 more, I’m sure I would find a place for them too. I wanted to sell the large silver one today, but it’s probably best that I don’t go into it. Anywho, I just love these jacks and wanted to know if anyone else has these and what they do with them. They have been bookends, paperweights, and space fillers for me. I know they are typically attributed to George Nelson, but I’m not really sure who originally designed them.

  1. They’re great as a group like that. I’d love to find just ONE some day!

  3. I’ve had these in the past too - they make great doorstops!
They’re always attributed to GN but I highly doubt that - GN didn’t dable in sculpture. Some people say they were actually designed by Bill Curry. Who knows? :)
