Living Room Windows
I am in desperate need of some suggestions for our living room windows! Curtains? Blinds? Shades? Our neighbors are so tired of looking at us! They actually call our house “The Airport” because of all the lights we normally have on…
Thank-you

Gift From Pixar’s Bud Luckey
When Samson Rocket was born, Luby and I got the avalanche of gifts - expected and unexpected. One of the best gifts we received and possibly one of the best gifts I’ve ever received, was an Illustration drawn by Bud Luckey, the creator of Woody from “Toy Story”. He drew it for us as a gift from a friend of a friend of a friend twice removed, but either way, it was drawn for us and I thought I would share it. As you can see little Samson is hanging on the rocket with his “S” cape on.
More House Rehab
Since Luby and I were already living in a hotel when we bought our house, we went ahead and rehabbed the whole house at once. I thought I would show you what we have done so far. Any house is a work in progress, but the big ticket items are complete-floors, walls, roof, electrical, and most appliances. The house has a very open floor plan, so the living room opens to the sitting room which is also the dining area. The recessed lighting and the plywood walls are all original. Most homes in the area originally had these features, but were torn out years ago by most buyers. We were one of the lucky ones who scored!
